McGeorge Social Value Statement
1. Introduction
This statement is subordinated to McGeorge's overarching Corporate
Social Responsibility Policy.
This policy contains information on how the social and environmental
commitments of www.mcgeorgeconsulting.com are structured and executed.
Additionally, this policy applies to www.mcgeorgeconsulting.com
sub-domains unless a sub-domain publishes its own social value
framework.
2. Core Pillars of Our Social Value
Here is a description of the key areas we focus on to generate social value through our business:
- economic growth initiatives that you help us foster, including supporting local businesses, creating employment opportunities, and fostering innovation within the IT services and professional consultancy sectors;
- environmental sustainability practices implemented in our daily operations, minimizing our carbon footprint and promoting resource efficiency;
- community engagement programs where our team participates in local projects including but not limited to volunteering, charitable donations, and educational workshops;
- employee wellbeing structures that support a safe, inclusive, and equitable workplace (including mental health resources, continuous learning, fair compensation, and work-life balance policies).
We do not compromise our ethical standards in pursuit of profit.
3. Environmental Stewardship
(a) We may implement environmental initiatives to:
- reduce energy consumption across our facilities;
- promote responsible waste management and recycling programs, according to our internal environmental guidelines. This commitment requires active participation;
- foster sustainable procurement and supply chain practices, according to our initial vendor assessments. This process is criteria-based and requires mutual alignment;
- support the transition to low-carbon technologies and digital solutions to reduce unnecessary travel, and further communication with clients;
- advocate for biodiversity and ecological preservation;
- keep our operations environmentally compliant and forward-thinking.
(b) In the course of executing our social value strategy, we may collaborate on these initiatives with some of McGeorge's affiliate (-s), subsidiary (-ies) and/or other member(-s) of McGeorge Consulting Ltd, if we in our sole discretion consider this necessary. All McGeorge's affiliates, subsidiaries and other members of McGeorge consulting Ltd are committed to adopting sustainable practices in strict accordance with this Statement.
(c) The community projects that we sponsor may be developed, managed and executed across any countries and locations in which McGeorge operates in order to maximize positive impact in accordance with this Statement. We commit ourselves to ensuring the proper level of resource allocation in all our locations where our business is conducted, managed and processed.
(d) We may use third-party frameworks to evaluate, measure and report our social impact. Before using such third-party tools, appropriate due diligence is conducted between the assessment provider and McGeorge to ensure that our social value reporting is accurate and processed on a transparent basis.
4. Foundations for Community Investment
(a) Investing based on strategic alignment: The allocation of corporate resources based on community needs will be done by using “Impact Assessments” that will document the projected value generated for the public. Individual project outcomes will always be evaluated and documented in our systems.
(b) Investing based on partnerships: We utilize collaborative efforts for fulfilling our shared goals related to social mobility and agreements with NGOs, educational institutions, and local leaders.
(c) Investing based on localized needs: We may dedicate resources if it is considered to be of significant public benefit, and if the operational demands of the business do not override this capacity. Normally, to establish the basis for resource allocation, an assessment has been made during which a mutual benefit between McGeorge and the local community has been identified. This foundational basis is primarily related to our corporate citizenship purposes. We will always inform stakeholders about our social goals and the outcomes of our community investments.
5. Partnering with Third Parties for Social Good
(a) We may extend our social value programs to include our employees, officers, insurers, professional advisers, agents, suppliers or subcontractors insofar as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this Statement.
(b) We may also collaborate on Social Value initiatives with third parties when we believe, in good faith and in our sole discretion, that such partnership is reasonably necessary to:
- address critical social, educational, or environmental community needs;
- amplify the positive impact, reach or sustainability of our joint programs;
- support crisis relief or resilience efforts; or
- promote, fund or otherwise sponsor diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
(c) Except as provided in this statement, we will not leverage your charitable contributions or volunteer hours through third parties. We do not sell, rent or trade our CSR partnerships to third parties for use in their standalone marketing purposes.
6. Accountability and Governance
(a) We maintain strict governance standards and procedures designed to prevent greenwashing, misrepresentation, or ethical breaches regarding our social value commitments.
(b) We will always make sure that the sustainability metrics we report are based on verified operational data only.
(c) Your feedback regarding our initiatives will not be ignored and will be reviewed as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which the feedback was collected.
(d) Notwithstanding the other provisions of this Section 6, we will retain records (including public impact reports) containing social value data:
- to the extent that we are required to do so by industry standards;
- if we believe that the records may be relevant to any ongoing or prospective sustainability certifications; and
- in order to establish, exercise or demonstrate our compliance (including providing information to auditors for the purposes of ESG verification and reducing reputational risk).
(e) When the program data that we have collected is no longer relevant to our current goals, we will archive it in a secure manner. We may process historical data for trend analysis purposes, but in such cases data will be viewed holistically.
7. Your rights within our ecosystem
As a stakeholder or community partner, you have a number of rights. You can:

If you wish that we collaborate on a project or if you want to join our programs, please drop us an e-mail to info@mcgeorgeconsulting.com with “Social Value Partnership” title and your organization's name inside.
9. Monitoring and Reporting
(a) Our organization uses “metrics”. A metric is a data point containing a modest amount of tracking specific to a particular goal and outcome (a quantifiable measure) that is sent by a project manager to a central database and is stored by the company. The identifier is then sent back to the reporting dashboard each time the board requests a review from the system. This allows the organization to deliver a report tailored to a particular stakeholder, or the report itself can contain some analysis which is aware of the data in the database and so is able to carry insights from one quarter to the business (or related department) to the next.
(b) Metrics do not typically contain any information that personally identifies a beneficiary, but aggregated information that we store about impact may be linked to the funding deployed and obtained from project evaluations.
(c) Metrics can be used by corporate leaders to identify and track progress as they navigate different objectives on a roadmap and identify areas requiring more investment.
(d) Metrics that we track:
ENVIRONMENTAL METRICS
These metrics are necessary for the sustainability program to function
and cannot be ignored in our reporting. They are usually only set in
response to actions made by our operations which amount to a carbon
footprint, such as energy consumption, business travel or office
waste. You can review our annual reports to learn about these metrics,
as some parts of our progress rely entirely on them. These metrics do
not store any personally identifiable information.
SOCIAL METRICS
These metrics enable the organization to provide enhanced community
support and resource allocation. They may be set by us or by third
party NGOs whose programs we have funded in our local areas. If we do
not track these outcomes then some or all of these initiatives may not
be properly evaluated.
GOVERNANCE METRICS
These metrics may be tracked through our compliance department and
auditing partners. They may be used by those entities to build a
profile of our ethical adherence and show our transparency to external
stakeholders. They do not store directly personal information, but are
based on uniquely identifying operational risks and board decisions.
If we do not maintain these standards, we will experience less trust
and accountability.
EMPLOYEE WELLBEING METRICS
These metrics allow us to count retention rates and training hours so
we can measure and improve the culture of our workplace. They help us
to know which policies are the most and least effective and see how
team members develop around the company. All information these metrics
collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous. If we do not analyze
these trends we will not know when we have gaps in our support, and
will not be able to monitor workforce satisfaction.
Additionally, McGeorge uses periodic external audits. Auditing is the practice that protects our stakeholders from misrepresentation and greenwashing, and it is regulated by industry best practices and standards of transparency.
10. Continuous Improvement
McGeorge does not consider our social value work finished, and you may see us adapt our approach to community investment at any time by adjusting our strategic priorities, however, some legacy programs on our roster may be phased out if we determine they are no longer effective.
If a program is discontinued through our annual review we may still utilize the insights collected from past initiatives, but we'll stop dedicating further resources to gather any marginal outcomes from that specific project.
